treats pleaseLabor Day at the Pool: Free Open Swim 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.  Come on in, the water feels great!  More information.

Fall Friday Flicks: 6 p.m. every Friday evening in September.  Free movies at Posse Grounds Park.  Set up a blanket or chair on the grass and enjoy a sweat treat and a family friendly movie.  More information.

Sedona WagFest & Fair: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sept 29th.  WagFest & Fair is the perfect day out for dogs and their two-legged friends (owners/family). This canine resource event will feature booths where you can stop, shop and learn from the area’s best dog-related product and service providers.  Demonstrations and contests will be scheduled throughout the morning.  More information.

Splash Pad: September is the last month the splash pad will be open for the year.  Located at Sunset Park, open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September 30.  Water features are activated on a timer with the push of the button.  More information.

Family Foot Rodeo: Thank you for joining us on August 17th.  We hope everyone had as much fun at this unique event as we did.  You can enjoy pictures and a video on our YouTube page.

Bike Skills Park Maintenance: Our awesome bike park needs weekly maintenance.  Volunteers are appreciated and encouraged to donate a few hours alongside staff to work on the trails.  Please let us know if you would like to help.  More information.

pump park 2Facilities Available:  Know the park amenities that are available to you.  Rental space for birthday parties, meetings, classes, performing arts and all sorts of reasons.  Picnic ramadas are available at two parks.  Our Recreation Room is waiting and ready.  The Pavilion and Hub are bookable for your performing arts needs and even the community pool can be rented.  Check us out and reserve a venue that works for you.  More information.

Instant Piano and Guitar Workshops: Registration is open now for these two workshops.  Being held on October 1 and 2 in the evening.  Learn all you need to know in one class.  More information Piano.  More information Guitar.

Pumpkin Splash: Pumpkins picked directly out of the water.  Trunk or Treat, games on deck, pumpkins to take home.  Mark your calendars now to purchase tickets for this memorable event.  Tickets will go on sale, Monday, October 8, at the Parks and Recreation office, or over the phone at 928-282-7098.  The event will take place on Saturday, October 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  More information.
