Red Dirt concerts Oct & Nov

Post Date:10/01/2018 3:35 p.m.

The Posse Grounds Pavilion at Barbara Antonsen Park will host four free community concerts October through November. You can expect a variety of musical genres, treats for sale and a beautiful view. Live music performances will be held on Fridays, Oct. 12 and 26, and Nov. 2 and 16, beginning at 5 p.m.  The Pavilion is located at 505 Posse Grounds Rd.

Enjoy fresh air, the company of community friends and great live music. This facility has festival style seating which means spectators sit on the grass. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy kettle corn from Sedona Gold Fundraising.

Performer line-up:

October 12, Throwback Rock and Poetry with Zoot Suit Zebras and Tommy Rocks the Beatles.
October 26, Classic Rock with Eric Nelson and J Bad and the Witness Protection Band.
November 2, Progressive/Rock/Americana Folk with Chris Brown and Black Forest Society.
November 16, Jazz with David Vincent Mills and Vismaya-From Paris to Brazil.

Parking is available in the main lot at the park, and space is limited to 300 guests at the concert. For more information about this event and others contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (928) 282-7098 or visit the Parks calendar page.
