Mission Statement
The mission of the Public Works Department is to provide for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the roads, storm drainage facilities, park facilities, buildings, parking lots and wastewater facilities, within and related to the City of Sedona; and to assist other City Departments with its expertise in these areas, in a manner which takes into account the direction of the City Manager, the City Council, and the desires of the citizens of Sedona.

ARIZONA'S 100th BIRTHDAY - HISTORIC ROADS
You might find it interesting to see and learn about the roads we've traveled along. The Arizona Department of Transportation working with the Federal Highway Administration has developed a website showcasing the state's highway system as it existed between 1912 and 1955, excluding interstates.
