ADA Accessibility
The City of Sedona is committed to providing accessible facilities and services
to all Sedona residents and visitors. In accordance with the Department of
Justice and the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act
of 1990, the City of Sedona will not discriminate against qualified individuals
with disabilities on the basis of disability in City services, programs, or
activities.
In an effort to provide amenities for persons with disabilities, the City offers
a wide variety of services and activities, including free public parking and
shuttle service (beginning in the Fall of 2006) throughout Uptown, Hillside,
and Tlaquepaque for all Sedona residents and visitors; meeting facilities
equipped with assistive hearing devices; text telephone and relay services;
and, upon request, City documents may be printed in Braille or large format
print. Qualified interpreters can be made available for City meetings with a
48-hour advance notice to the City Clerk’s office.
Several athletic fields, basketball court, play ground equipment, picnic
pavilions, and grills are readily available for all. The City pool, open from
late May to early August, is equipped with a loading/unloading chair and easily
accessible. For persons interested in participating in sporting events or

The City of Sedona encourages all persons with disabilities to contact the City
with questions, comments, and concerns that pertain to the accessibility of
roads, curbs, sidewalks, parks, web-based services, parks, and all recreational
activities and programs. All feedback will be considered during the design and
implementation of new services.
