Mr Rogers Summer Tennis Camp

Have fun, play games, win prizes, build skills, and learn to play tennis with Mr. Rogers.

Camp offered Monday through Friday from June 8 - August 7:

  • Morning Camp: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., 7 to 10 years old
  • Afternoon Camp: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., 11 to 13 years old

Fee:

  • $95 per week
  • or $25 daily drop-in fee
  • or save 15% by signing up for 4 weeks at $323

Class Description:

Morning Camp

  • 9 - 10:30 tennis instruction and games
  • 10:30 - 10:45 Snack
  • 10:45 - 12:00 tennis competitions

Afternoon Camp

  • 1 - 2:30 tennis instruction
  • 2:30 - 2:45 Snack
  • 2:45 - 4:00 tennis competitions and matches

Participants should bring water, snacks, sunscreen, tennis shoes and wear athletic apparel. All tennis equipment will be provided!

Instructor Bio:

Mike Rogers

Coach Rogers is a certified United States Professional Tennis Association and USPTR P-ONE tennis pro. He has 22 years of experience teaching tennis. During the 1980's Mike was the local tennis pro for Sedona working out of Poco Diablo Resort. Formerly a USPTA San Diego Division vice president, Mike Rogers has twenty-two years of experience in developing, teaching and promoting tennis. Mike specializes in Quickstart Tennis for ages 4-7 years old and Junior Leagues. Mike is also the coach for the USDHS Boy´s Varsity tennis team, and holds the CIF title for 2000. He still holds the record for winning three consecutive state championships while attending high school in Connecticut, also had a New England Junior ranking and played Tyler Junior College and UCF.
