Budget Oversight Commission

Purpose

• Work with a staff liaison to provide feedback and recommendations to City Council on the development, implementation and evaluation of the yearly budget;
• The commission may also assist in reviewing the City’s financial policies and procedures or initiatives that may impact the City’s financial policies, procedures, or budget;
• The commission would be solely advisory and is meant to provide feedback and input, as facilitated by staff, to the Council’s decision-making process.
