Arts and Culture Commission:
The Arts & Culture Commission recommends policy regarding arts and culture programs to the Sedona City Council. The Commission consists of seven members from the greater Sedona area. The Commission meets the first Thursday of the month at 3 p.m. in the Vultee Conference Room.
Art in Public Places Committee:
The Art in Public Places Committee addresses public art policy issues and makes recommendations to the Arts and Culture Commission. The Committee is composed of seven members; five public members appointed by the Commission, and two Commission representatives. The Committee meets the third Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. in the Vultee Conference Room.
Sedona Events Alliance:
The mission of the Sedona Events Alliance is to unite local event organizers/promoters by providing comprehensive business tools and resources to help increase awareness and profitability of local events as well as to help promote Sedona as a premier festival, arts and events destination to visitors and to the residents of our community. The Sedona Events Alliance is a Chamber of Commerce Affinity Group.
The Sedona Arts and Culture Department receives a yearly grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the state arts agency. This grant is made possible through funding from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment of the Arts.
