General Information
The City of Sedona is located approximately 23 miles south of Flagstaff, 110
miles north of Phoenix and 240 miles north of Tucson. Located in a high desert
climate, Sedona experiences temperatures averaging 15 degrees warmer than
Flagstaff and 10 degrees cooler than Phoenix.
Best Airport to fly into is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. You may
take ground transportation from the Phoenix airport to Sedona via:

Sedona is located at the convergence of US Highway 89 Alt. and State Route 179.
Specific directions are as follows:

From Flagstaff

US 89 Alt. South for 23 miles

Or I-17 south to the intersection with SR 179, (Exit 298) then west through the
Village of Oak Creek.

From Phoenix
-
I-17 North to Camp Verde and State Route 260 (Exit 287), then West to
Cottonwood. Go North on 89 Alt. to Sedona.

From Tucson
-
I-10 West and connect with I-17 North. Continue on I-17 North to Camp Verde and
State Route 260 (Exit 287), then West to Cottonwood. Go North on 89 Alt. to
Sedona.
