Building Permit Packets
When a Building Permit is Required
Packets listed below consist of multiple documents, such as instructions and applications.  The multiple documents are combined into a single PDF. You may download, save, and print each packet.  The application forms can be filled in electronically for your convenience (it is recommended that you save the file to your computer prior to filling in and printing the form).  Please let us know if you have any problems with viewing/downloading the files.

Processing Times
Plans and permit applications are processed on a first come, first serve basis. Review times vary with the complexity of the project, the current volume of permit applications, and the quality of the submittals received. Subsequent submittals and additional time are sometimes required to address significant corrections or obtain other agency approvals before the permit can be issued. Please allow up to 20 business days for permit applications to be processed.

Single Family Homes, Duplexes, and Associated Accessory Building Residential Permit Packet
This packet is for single family homes and duplexes.

Residential Remodel/Addition Building Permit Packet
For residential remodeling and repair or renovation work, associated accessory buildings, including new buildings, additions, decks, patio covers, garages and carports.
Manufactured Home and Factory Built Permit Packet
For new manufactured homes, factory built buildings, and associated accessory buildings, including additions, decks, patio covers, garages and carports, remodeling, and repair or renovation work
Commercial and Multifamily Residential Building Permit Packet
For commercial, multi-family residences, hotels, motels, and associated accessory buildings, including new buildings, additions, decks, patio covers, garages and carports, remodeling, and repair or renovation work
Tenant Improvements Building Permit Packet
For a commercial business to obtain a Tenant Improvement Permit for remodeling the interior of an existing commercial building
Fence Permit Packet
To install a fence.
Tenant Ocupancy Permit Packet
This permit is required for any new business occupying commercial space or an existing business changing locations.
Photovoltaic Systems Permit Packet
To install Photovoltaic Electrical Power Systems.
Solar Water Heater Permit Packet
To install a solar water heating system.
Residential, Semipublic Swimming Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs Building Permit Packet
For a swimming pool, spa or hot tub and associated pool safety barriers
