Did You Know?

… that our very own Sedona Police Officer Shayla Jones received an award for Exceptional Courage on October 24th at the Celebrating Women in Yavapai County Law Enforcement 2023 Recognition Luncheon?!

The nomination for the award was submitted after an incident in June 2022 where Officer Jones detained two individuals and provided life saving measures on a gunshot victim for a partner agency outside the city limits.

Officer Jones continuously demonstrates bravery, courage, and heroism while placing the safety and welfare of Sedona above all other considerations.
