SEDONA, Ariz. – The city of Sedona, Oak Creek Watershed Council and Arizona Water Company invite the public to attend the third annual World Water Day celebration event on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Slide Rock State Park at 6871 N. Highway 89A.
This year’s event features over 10 participating local and state organizations, offering opportunities to learn how each group helps protect freshwater resources. Attendees can take part in hands-on activities, including a macroinvertebrate survey at Oak Creek, and explore additional water‑focused demonstrations. Participants who complete at least three event activities will be entered into raffle drawings for special prizes. A food vendor will also be available on-site for anyone to purchase a meal during the event hours.
