March 2026 Sales & Bed Tax Overview
For March 2026, sales tax collection of $4,044,520.85 is 16% higher than March 2025.  The March 2026 bed tax of $1,268,377.45 is 17% higher than March 2025. The combined total March 2026 Sales & Bed Tax is $5,312,898.30, which is 17% higher than the combined sales and bed tax total for March 2025 .

March is typically the highest sales and bed tax collections combined, and March 2026 ranked as the single highest month in FY26 to date.
March 2026 was also the highest combined March sales and bed tax total recorded in the past 10 years.
Of the $5,312,898.30 reported, $5,101,611.10 is attributed specifically to March activity; the remainder reflects prior month adjustments or corrected filings.

Retail revenue increased 15% compared to March 2025, reflecting higher reported collections year over year.

Hotel/Motel Sales Tax and Bed Tax – up 17%
Combined hotel/motel sales tax and bed tax revenues increased 17% compared to the same period last year, reflecting higher reported collections year over year.

Construction – up 40%
Construction activity increased by 40% in March 2026. Favorable temperatures allowed projects to progress on schedule and overall development activity remains higher than March 2025.

Leasing – up 15%
Leasing revenues increased 15% compared to the same period last year, reflecting stable leasing activity and higher reported collections year over year

Amusements & Other – up 33%
The Amusements & Other category rose 33%, reflecting increased engagement in various leisure and recreational activities.
