The Art in Public Places program
The City's Art in Public Places program is funded by developers at no cost to the city's taxpayers and has helped bring sculptures, fine art, and photography for everyone to enjoy. The program requires new developments to include outdoor art or contribute to a fund supporting public art projects.
Sculptures of Native Americans, settlers, and local wildlife like coyotes and javelinas tell the story of Sedona, celebrating its strong connection to both nature, history and community. Some pieces, made from recycled materials, show care for the environment, while gold accents on city signs add a warm and welcoming touch.
Program Requirements for Developers
