HEPA filter program

In response to concerns about smoky conditions in Sedona during the recent Pocket Fire and the ongoing need for wildfire preparedness, the Sustainability Department is offering free, high-quality High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters for Sedona residents who may be vulnerable to smoke, including infants and young children, seniors, those with existing lung and heart conditions, outdoor workers, and more. The filters may help improve indoor air quality and increase resiliency when faced with wildfire smoke.

Residents of Sedona must fill out an application to be considered for approval. Filters are available at no cost to limited-income residents who are at higher risk. Applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Program Eligibility

  • Must be a resident of Sedona
  • Residents must fill out an application
  • Residents will be approved for a filter based off their annual household income and stated household vulnerability to poor air quality including the age of residents within a household, the number of residents within a household, existing lung or heart conditions, and the amount of time the home is occupied in a given year.
