Request: Request for zone change and development review.

Summary: Project proposal for a mixed-use development on six acres, to include hotel and multi-family and employee residences.

Location: 1259 W State Route 89A (APN 408-26-004D)

Project Status: On August 4, 2026, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the Time Extension to the City Council.

Approved by City Council on September 24, 2024.

Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing on November 7, 2023, and continued the project. Planning and Zoning Commission held a second public hearing and recommended approval of the project on February 6, 2024.

City Council reviewed the proposal on March 26, 2024, and deferred consideration for up to 6 months to allow the applicant to address outstanding concerns and conduct additional public outreach. City Council approved the project by a 4-3 vote on September 24, 2024.

2026 Time Extension

Request/Project Summary: Request for an extension of the Development Review Approval for project PZ19-00005 (ZC, DEV), approved by Sedona City Council on September 24, 2024.

Status: On August 4, 2026, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the Time Extension to the City Council.

PZ16-00013 (ZC, DEV) This project was originally submitted in 2016 under PZ16-00013. Due to the amount of time that has passed and the current application being reviewed under the new Land Development Code (adopted in November 2018), the project is considered a new application.
