Wastewater billing is moving to a new location

Beginning November 17th, 2025, the Wastewater billing team will be relocated to 221 Brewer Rd. All in-person payments must be made at this location or placed in the orange payment drop-box at the entrance to the new Finance building at 221 Brewer Rd.

Residential sewer billing

You can create an account on Xpress Bill Pay or pay as a guest. You can pay with a credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer. You will need your wastewater account number to make a payment.

Pay your bill online here

You can find your account number on your bill. Please refer to the sample bill below; your account number is located in the top right corner.

Set up auto-pay

You can make one-time online payments or set up automatic monthly payments (pdf) and sign up for e-notifications. Contact Financial Services at (928) 204-7185 to set up auto-pay prior to receiving your first bill. Otherwise, new accounts must wait for their first paper statement before setting up online service when set up directly on Xpress Bill Pay.

Pay by text

You can now pay your wastewater bill by responding to a text notification. Follow these steps to pay by text (pdf). There is no additional fee for paying by text.

Pay your wastewater bill using the Xpress Bill Pay mobile app. FREE download is available for both IOS and Android devices, where apps are purchased.

The Financial Services Department is located in building 106 at the northeast corner of the City Hall complex with the entrance on the south side of the building. We are available Monday through Thursday 7 AM to 6 PM for appointments, or 7:30 AM to 5 PM for walk-ins, except legal holidays.

Hotel, Resort, and Restaurant sewer billing

Customers classified as Hotel, Resort, or Restaurant may elect water usage-based rates instead of per room- or per unit-based calculations.

If hotels, resorts or restaurants elect to change the way their wastewater bill is calculated, the appropriate form below must be completed and emailed to wastewaterbilling@sedonaaz.gov. To elect a water usage-based rate, the premises must be served by a separately billed and unshared water meter or meters and the water provider must be able to produce at least 12 months of water usage history for the establishment.
