About Posse Grounds

Posse Grounds Park: Sedona's first park has 78.63 acres and stunning red rock scenery and provides a welcoming space for recreation, relaxation, and community gatherings. 

In the past this area was used as a staging ground for the Sheriff's Posse. Today the park offers ten covered and landscaped ramadas that can be reserved for parties and special events, or just used as a place to sit and enjoy lunch. Near the multi-use field is the Posse Grounds Recreation Room which is used for various recreation classes throughout the year. Located just up the street from this park is the Sedona Community Pool. Bike Skills Park at Posse Grounds

The Sedona Bike Park has a Tot Loop, an amazing Pump Park, Flow Trail, Tech Flow Trail, Bump Jump Trail and Dual Slalom track. The Skill Zone and Jump Zone are the remaining projects.

Sedona Dog Park at Posse Grounds

Location: Corner of Soldier's Pass Road and Carruth Drive, 950 Soldiers Pass Rd.

Hours: The park is open April 1 - October 1 from 6 AM- 8 PM, and October 2 - March 31 from 7 AM- 7 PM The park is closed Thursdays mornings from 9:00-11:00 AM for sanitizing of the facility. For information on the expanded dog park, click here to be directed to the scope of work.
