About the Military Service Park
The Sedona Military Service Park is located within the boundaries of Jack Jamesen Memorial Park.
The park honors citizens of Sedona who have honorably served in the U.S. military. All five branches of the military are represented. Names of veterans are engraved onto the granite walls once a year and flags are replaced twice a year around Memorial Day and Veterans' Day with the help of Sedona Area Veteran & Community Outreach volunteers.
Military Service Park Inscription Applications are accepted year-round, with inscriptions installed once a year prior to Memorial Day. To be included in the current year, applications must be received by no later than May 1. If submitted after May 1, inscription will be installed the following year. For information and inscription application please email Sedona Parks & recreation SedonaRec@Sedonaaz.gov
Sedona Area Veteran & Community Outreach (SAVCO) hosts an annual Memorial Day event at this location. This is a great opportunity to view the completed inscriptions. As Memorial Day approaches, look for details about this event on SAVCO's website (https://www.savco.org/events).
