City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department Presents

Every Wednesday in April, dance instructor Jeffrey Wang will lead this Beginner-Level Salsa Footwork & Musicality experience. Ready to dance? This beginner-level class breaks down salsa timing, footwork, and turns to smooth, slow-paced tracks. Perfect for building confidence and mastering the fundamentals in a fun environment!

Jeffrey Wang

Jeffrey Wang is a salsa instructor with 13 years of experience in On1 and On2 footwork and partner work. A former performance team member and certified Pilates instructor, Jeffrey uniquely blends technical body mechanics with a deep, percussive understanding of rhythm.

Having taught in Sedona, Cottonwood, and Clarkdale—including popular courses at Yavapai College—he is known for a teaching style that encourages both fun and learning. As a percussionist and multi-genre dancer (bachata, zouk, modern), Jeffrey brings a wealth of musical and physical expertise to every class.
