Project Summary: Rezoning requests for 18 properties within the Schnebly CFA from RS-10 or RS-18 to the new Oak Creek Heritage (OC) District.
Request: This City-initiated application seeks to rezone multiple properties located within the Schnebly Community Focus Area (CFA) from RS-10 or RS-18 to the newly established Oak Creek Heritage (OC) District. This zone change request encompasses 18 parcels comprising approximately 44 acres and is the result of an approximately four year effort to establish and realize the Schnebly CFA vision.

Project Status: The Planning and Zoning Commission forwarded a recommendation of approval to City Council for the zone change request on October 15, 2019.
There was a P&Z public hearing on December 17, 2019 regarding proposed amendments to the Land Development Code-OC Heritage District densities and campground definitions. P&Z forwarded a recommendation of approval of the amendments to City Council. The City Council hearing originally scheduled for January 28, 2020 has been postponed.
